International Golf Tournaments

In a recent survey conducted by Golf World USA, Hawaii was ranked by PGA TOUR professionals as their favorite place to visit. And with good reason. Hawaii is home to eight of the 25 top resort courses in the country, with no other state having more than two. Visiting Hawaii during the major PGA TOUR tournaments is a great way of getting to know the courses. Soon enough, you’ll be taking the pros’ place alongside the stunning greens while the thrill of seeing the pros compete in the ultimate setting will be a highlight for any golfing enthusiast. MASTERCARD CHAMPIONSHIP (18-23 January 2005)

The annual MasterCard Championship always kicks off the Champion's Tour season and sees the world’s greatest golfers gather together at the beautiful Hualalai Resort, Big Island. Legends, including Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson, Craig Stadler and Lee Trevino, challenge defending champion Fuzzy Zoeller for $1.6 million in prize money. Tickets are available for $10 per day or $25 for the whole week and can be purchased at the admission gate.

TURTLE BAY CHAMPIONSHIP (28-30 January 2005)

Official PGA Champions Tour Full-Field Event (81 professionals). This event will be the first full-field Champions Tour event of the year and will be held at Turtle Bay Resort, North Shore, Oahu, Hawaii. Tickets are available through www.ticketmaster.com.
